We at F AS IN FRANK are getting ready to head down to sunny California for the second annual Inspiration World Vintage Gathering. Last years event was a blast and we are super stoked to be taking part and exhibiting again this year. The 2011 event has been moved from its former location, an airport hanger at the Santa Monica air strip, to the world famous Queen Mary Ocean Liner docked in the Long Beach Harbour. The Queen Mary should be an amazing venue for this event as it is a decommissioned cruise ship dating back to 1936.
Inspiration is an event put on by vintage fashion enthusiast, author, and photographer Rin Tenaka. Rin is most famous for his in "My Freedamn" book series which tell the story of American Vintage Fashion over the decades. The event is a chance for vintage dealers, fashion designers, artists, and vintage enthusiasts from all over the world to come together under one roof for two days of networking, sharing, selling and general good times.
